¿Quién soy? Yo y mi identidad
-Who I am? Me and my identity-
¿Quién soy? Yo y mi identidad -Who I am? Me and my identity- is a short narrative between Yo -Me- (mother figure) and her two favorite people in this world (her two children) about the discovery of her identity under the concepts of body, gender and desire.
A small visual resource to try to accompany diversity.
In my self-process of becoming a mother I have had to deconstruct myself on numerous occasions to be able to educate and accompany my daughters from a position that is emotionally closer and more sensitive to their biological rhythms, their feelings, their interests and their concerns.
Who I am? Me and my identity was born out of the need to build resources to be able to explain the new concepts that are appearing in our daily vocabulary and gaining strength in our society that are related to the construction of identity and the LGTBIQ+ collective.
It was a personal project to have a tool to be able to explain in a more visual, entertaining way and to be able to begin to understand difficult concepts in a direct, more explicit way, without the use of metaphors. A kind of visual dictionary to educate and accompany my daughters. I hope that today this resource can be useful to you too.
